At Blackmoor Landscapes, we believe in the art of landscaping and the positive impact it can have on both a home’s aesthetic and its environment. The story behind our company starts with me, Saverio, owner and operator.
Growing up in Ottawa, I was introduced to landscaping by my middle school teacher, and volleyball coach. It wasn’t until after high school, when I started working alongside him, that I began to fully appreciate the craft.
It was through these experiences that I discovered a deep love for landscaping, though it wasn’t until a few years ago that I truly recognized its potential as a career. In fact, it was during a trip to Japan that my perspective on landscaping completely shifted.
I was captivated by the meticulous and elegant designs I saw in Japanese gardens, where landscaping wasn’t just about plants but about creating a serene, beautiful space that told a story. This experience inspired me to take landscaping more seriously and pursue it as a passion, ultimately leading me to launch Blackmoor Landscapes.
I founded the business with a dedication to professionalism, craftsmanship, and a keen attention to detail. Every project is an opportunity to transform a space, and I approach each with the same level of care, no matter how big or small.
